Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt 2015
The Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt will be celebrating 12 years of great family fun this year! The Rotary Club of Mukwonago will once again thrill you with the spooktacular Halloween Haunt in Field Park's pavilion. Enjoy face painting, games, crafts, refreshments from some of our local girl scout troops and Scott's Dog House Deli Sausage & Hot Dogs.
The park will be filled with carved pumpkins donated by local businesses and individuals and placed along the walking paths. Civic groups and youth groups carve pumpkins and the Jack-O-Lanterns are lit every evening from opening until close. Everyone is invited to view the pumpkins at their leisure.
This year we are pleased to feature another independent movie from Christopher Mihm, "Danny Johnson Saves the World" at 8:00 PM. This movie is based on the 1950’s black and white “B” movies and is a lot of fun. This is a family friendly movie. It is suitable for everyone including the kids. We will again show it in the Lion's pavilion. Bring your own seating.
The Jaunt will be held on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17. There is a drive through from 6:00 PM until 6:45 PM and then the walk will continue from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM each night.
The admission is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children 12 and under and all the proceeds of the Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt / Halloween Haunt will go back into the community to support the MHS school to work program and the Mukwonago Food Pantry Resource Center.
Anyone can display Jack-O-Lanterns. Bring your carved pumpkins to Mukwonago Field Park on Friday, October 16 from 1 PM to 5 PM. Candles will be provided.
Please dress for the weather as the event will not be cancelled due to rain.
